Heritage de France Anduze
vases come from the most famous potter family workshop
located in Provence.
The fame of its original founder dates back four
centuries, when he crafted an order for King
LOUIS XIV, who wanted to decorate the gardens
of his Versailles Palace, near
Paris. For centuries, the tradition
was passed on from father to son. Today they are
still continuing the art of their elders.
These large-size, stylish urnlike pots are used
for planting orange and lemon trees in the large
properties and mansions in the South of
France. They are a symbol of Provence.
The well-deserved and worldwide reputation of Anduze
vases endows these luxury artifacts with a quality
of timelessness. |

The
craftsmanship
The potters follow the same 400-year old original
principles to create their hand-crafted
pots.
From the initial extraction of the clay in the family
quarry, to the signing of the finished item by the
craftsman, each vase is produced after a succession
of manual operations. This is what gives every one
of them their unique, authentic character. |
Although some raw materials are more precious, more
sophisticated or stronger than clay, none other
has ever given itself to man and served him since
the dawn of time with such natural generosity and
simple radiant beauty.
